Interpack2023: Busch presented the latest vacuum solution for the packaging industry

Busch Vacuum Solutions, a specialist in the manufacture of vacuum pumps, blowers and compressors, presented its Cobra DX energy-saving vacuum solution at Interpack, the international trade fair for the packaging and process industry.

The new vacuum solution from Busch is characterized by its extremely energy-efficient operation. Thanks to its state-of-the-art screw vacuum technology, it offers excellent operating properties, as well as a high tolerance to particles and steam.
A touch screen with an intuitive menu system allows you to control the most important functions. Thanks to the intelligent drive with variable speed control, an optimal vacuum level can always be achieved, which reduces energy consumption and keeps operating costs to a minimum.

Currently, the Cobra DX is available in two sizes and has a lid with a throughput of up to 950 m3 of flow per hour thanks to variable speed control. Achieves a limit vacuum of up to 0.01 mbar.

All operating data is constantly recorded and stored. This makes the vacuum pump suitable for a wide variety of packaging industry applications, such as MAP, thermoforming packaging machines and tray sealers. In addition, the Cobra DX can be used as the heart of a centralized vacuum system.
