The jury, comprising representatives from leading brands such as Chanel, Cartier, Interparfums, L’Oréal, The Estée Lauder Companies, and Groupe Clarins, among others, and led by the Chairman of the Jury and packaging expert Hervé Bouix, gathered on December 14, 2023, at Jujin New York to select the winners from an initial group of over 220 submissions.

A total of 15 awards and 10 certificates were presented across nine participating categories. The jury president Bouix and esteemed Jean Louis Mathiez, owner of Cinqpats, experts in innovative cosmetic packaging, presided over the ceremony at the Circular Economy Stage during the afternoon session of the first day of the fair.

All the finalist submissions were showcased in a gallery dedicated to the Innovation Awards at Paris Packaging Week, known as the birthplace of packaging innovation, with over 10,000 expected visitors in the world’s capital of luxury and beauty, specifically at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles.

Naïma Havard, Director of Packaging Development Projects at LVMH Fragrance Brands, received a certificate for ‘Flower By Kenzo Ikebana Eau de Parfum’ and stated, “We are very happy and honored to have received a certificate for this project, which was very difficult, as it integrates the innovation of a glass bell. We worked in collaboration with the Pochet group, which was very professional and never gave up. So, this certificate is a representation of hard work and a year and a half of dedication to create something special for the cosmetic industry.”

Over the next two days, the four halls of the Paris Packaging Week—ADF, PCD, PLD, and Packaging Première—allowed visitors to meet more than 650 suppliers, with over 400 of them in PCD, showcasing the latest materials and formats.
